My name is Gavin Stevens, and I've been working with game
artwork since around 1998 when I was introduced to the modding
scene with Quake 2. I'm a born and bred British mucker,
currently living in my hometown of Telford, Shropshire.
As of November, 2009, I am available for both contract and
freelance work.
As
I said previously, I started modding around Summer of '98
when the amazing Action Quake 2 was released and really
drew my interest into what could be done by a few kids with
no professional experience of note. Since then, I've begged,
borrowed (but never stole) as much information as I could
get my grubby little hands on so that I could learn the
various ways of game art and development, mostly working
with my own modifications and ideas with my own games design
group, "Team
Blur" My biggest claim to fame so far has been
working on the OverDose project with Team Blur Games for
next gen gaming machines and PC, something which I have
a lot of interest and love in.
I
have a passion for art and design in games, and one clear
rule... Never let anything get in the way of the love you
have for design.
